Give Through Your Foundation

Foundations play a crucial role in helping Orbis transform lives through the prevention and treatment of blindness.

In 2022, we delivered more than 30,000 critical trainings to eye teams and 63 sight-saving projects in 11 countries. Through long-term strategic partnerships with foundations, we are able to take on new challenges, push boundaries, and reach some of the most vulnerable and under-resourced people in the world.

There are a variety of ways foundations can help us to restore vision and eliminate avoidable blindness.

Some provide support to specific projects or regions, while others make unrestricted gifts which allow us to address the most pressing needs.

Our 2022 Annual Report outlines all of Orbis’s work around the globe, including our long-term country programs, hospital-based programs, our expanding telehealth initiatives, and the innovative work being done aboard the Flying Eye Hospital.

Support From the David & Molly Pyott Foundation to Strengthen Eye Care in Zambia

The David and Molly Pyott Foundation is a private U.S.-based charitable foundation dedicated to achieving three major goals: teaching and educating ophthalmologists worldwide to provide better eye care, improving care for disabled individuals, and enabling youth to secure employment.

We would like to say an enormous thank you to the Pyotts for their unwavering generosity and support. Through our continued partnership, we can provide access to quality eye care for families across Zambia.
