Organization Donation

To encourage businesses, social groups and public bodies to raise funds and awareness ahead of World Sight Day 2023, we’ll reward all staff/members who make a donation with a randomly selected Brightness Journey series pin (Hoping Eye and Brightening Lion). Those donating HK$1,000 or over will receive a highly collectible limited-edition three-pin set complete with our Vibrant Llama design. Help us build a more inclusive and compassionate world by joining supporting us this World Sight Day!

Pins will be sent out on or before September 28 to coordinator if we received the donations on or before September 19. All other pins will be dispatched on or before November 9. Organizations donating HK$20,000 or over will also receive a set of photo-taking props.

Please click “One-off Organization Donation” or “Organization Enrollment”, fill in the forms and set up your company’s fundraising page. Share the fundraising page to encourage your collegues and peers to participate and collect Orbis World Sight Day pin!

Our HSBC account number is 600-656565-001 and an official receipt will be issued for participants donating HK$100 or over.

Please remember to EMAIL a copy of your bank-in slip and enrolment form to [email protected]. If you forget to send us a copy of your bank-in slip, we regret we cannot issue you with any receipts or pins.

Your organization can also bolster its team spirit by hosting creative fundraising activities such as Matching Donations, auctions or other online activities.

All participating organizations’ staff, group members and partners supporting World Sight Day 2023 are encouraged to take and upload snaps of themselves wearing their pins to social media, or take photos with your colleagues with the World Sight Day props! Please also get your people to share their pictures and sight-saving messages via any other social media channels they may use with the hashtag #OrbisWorldSightDay2023.

The names of the “Top Five Fundraising organizations”, “Top Five Organizations with the Most Participants^#”, and the logos of participating organizations raising HK$60,000 or over will appear in our online acknowledgment list. (^#Participants refer to staff members donating HK$100 or over on or before November 22, 2023.)

Each participating organization will also receive an Orbis certificate of appreciation, while long-term supporters who have supported World Sight Day for three or more consecutive years will receive a special acknowledgment.

Orbis is also planning a World Sight Day Awards Ceremony in October to thank fundraising award winners and other participants.
