Millions of people go blind every year, and millions more suffer poor vision, simply because of where they were born. We think this is unacceptable. Learn more about where we work and the communities we help around the world.

We span the globe to bring people together in the fight against avoidable blindness. We work side-by-side with expert surgeons and village doctors, community nurses and traditional healers, health ministers and community activists, global foundations and individual donors around the world to preserve and restore sight.
