Your gift can go 4X as far this Cataract Awareness Month

This Cataract Awareness Month, there’s a new opportunity to help more people see clearly. For a limited time, a generous donor has increased their matching gift—so every donation can now go FOUR times as far, helping reach more children and adults with cataracts.

In honor of Cataract Awareness Month, for the first time EVER—when you give a generous gift, it will QUADRUPLE in impact through June 30.

Cataracts are still the leading cause of blindness worldwide. Yet in many cases, sight can be restored with a straightforward 20-minute surgery.

With the right training, equipment and care, it’s possible to bring that treatment to communities where access remains out of reach.

Restoring Sight for Children Like Ayas

Eight-year-old Ayas knows how quickly vision can change a life.

Ayas got the support he needed thanks to the Orbis community.

Living in a refugee camp in Bangladesh, his eyesight began to deteriorate because of cataracts. He struggled to read and slowly stopped joining in with other children.

With support from Orbis donors, Ayas received sight-saving surgery in one eye, with treatment planned for the other. His vision is now improving—opening the door back to school, friendships, and everyday life.

This special 4X match means every gift made before June 30 can help provide more training for eye care teams, more screenings, and more cataract surgeries for people who need them most.

It’s a rare opportunity to extend the reach of sight-saving care—so more families can access treatment that is simple, effective, and life-changing.

4X your impact now!

Help communities across the world access the cataracts care they need!
