Orbis appoints Mary Jane Jamar as new Chief Human Resources Officer

We're pleased to announce Mary Jane Jamar as our first-ever Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), part of the Orbis Executive Leadership Team. The new position strengthens our commitment to creating a thriving team and company culture as we work to combat avoidable blindness worldwide.

"Her 20-plus year track record of innovating HR systems from the ground up will enable her to get to work quickly on realizing an ambitious vision to strengthen Orbis's global HR function, people, and culture."
Mary Jane joins Orbis from Global HR Consulting, which utilizes a global network of partners to provide human resource management services to a variety of industries. Prior to that, she held the role of CHRO at Winrock International and at the International Rescue Committee. She has also held the senior HR role at Management Sciences for Health and the World Wildlife Fund.
