Vintage footage of Orbis through the years

This is an amazing video put together by a former staff member featuring vintage footage of our Flying Eye Hospital in the news in the 1980s. You’ll see ‘Project Orbis’ in Cuba during the Cold War, improving relations between the Turks and Greeks in Cyprus and even hosting Mother Theresa.

Gavin Wickham worked for Orbis over the course of three decades and was an Audio/Visual expert on board our Flying Eye Hospital.

His video is a tribute to the late great Oliver Foot and is a must watch for anyone connected with Orbis.
