That equates to 1 billion people on this planet, living with vision loss from avoidable causes. 90% of these people live in low- and middle-income countries, and 55% are women and girls. With donors, volunteers, staff, and partners, we aim to leave a long-term eye care legacy that will restore vision for generations to come. It’s an exciting time to join Orbis.
