Over the past eight year, Orbis has raised almost €750,000 through participating in The Great Ethiopian Run. On November 26th, Bob and his wife Sue will be joining the crowd of over 36,000 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
"I’m participating in the Great Ethiopia Run 10K to help fight against the disease that effects 1.2 million Ethiopians: Trachoma. Trachoma is a highly infectious eye disease that easily spreads between infected and healthy eyes through flies, fingers or clothing," Bob said. "I will continue to advocate for Orbis’s work in the fight against trachoma and the long-term goal to improve eye care for all Ethiopians."
