Through the Orbis REACH program in India, HOYA has helped support school-based vision screenings and the provision of eyeglasses to over 85,000 children, enabling them to see clearly, learn effectively, and reach their full potential.
HOYA has also supported Orbis green vision centers in India—community-based eye care hubs that provide sustainable access to vision services in underserved areas.
Through employee-led fundraising initiatives, employees from HOYA UK raised enough funds to establish a green vision center in Meghalaya, India in 2025.
HOYA also supports the development of myopia-focused educational resources on Cybersight, helping eye care professionals stay current with the latest evidence-based approaches to myopia management.
