Welcome to my fundraising project on behalf of ORBIS International. Please consider ordering a photograph to help this group's important mission: Saving and restoring eyesight!

If you missed my exhibit in Ithaca, New York, last summer, you can catch some of it here and order prints online. All prints are digitally produced with archival materials and are $300 each, including shipping. They are part of an ongoing series on time and place that documents painted signs on walls. This project began as an impulse to preserve my childhood memories of “home," as I documented the ever-present cityscape of my central New York State hometown.

Over time, the project broadened in reach geographically. Your purchase not only helps preserve a piece of small-town American culture but also helps preserve someone's eyesight! 100 percent of the proceeds from sales will go to ORBIS. Why I support ORBIS

I grew up in a family where everyone was very conscious of the gift of sight. This was partly because of my father’s profession as a photographer, and partly because my sister permanently lost sight in one of her eyes through a childhood accident. I try not to let a day go by without being thankful for all that I can see. ORBIS' mission in the world is extraordinary. Contributing to it in even a small way has been truly rewarding. What more precious gift is there than to give a lifetime of seeing!
