Alexisr recently turned 2 and to celebrate her birthday, we are seeking the support of our family and friends to teach Alexis that the best way to value and appreciate the endless blessings she receives in life is by giving back and being mindful that other people are less fortunate and need help. In lieu of birthday and holiday presents, we are asking your kind hearts to donate to ORBIS International, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving sight worlwide. Please extend your generosity so that others may see!

Why I support ORBIS
As many of you know, Alexis was diagnosed with esotropia (a type of strabismus or "cross eye") when she was 6 months old, which required surgery. This has made our family more aware of the importance of the gift of eyesight. We are very fortunate that Alexis received early medical attention and had the surgery performed early in life, before she developed visual impairment. As a way of giving back, we are going to continue to donate to ORBIS in the coming years to help save sight worldwide and support them in their dedication to advancing sight-saving surgery in developing countries.
