NEW YORK,
NEW YORK, June 29, 2006 – ORBIS International announced today that John S. Slattery, managing director with The Royal Bank of
Scotland and head of RBS Aviation Capital for the
Americas, has been appointed to the ORBIS Board of Directors. With the addition of Slattery, age 37, ORBIS’s board increases to 21 members.

An Irish national, Slattery joined The Royal Bank of
Scotland in 2001 as senior vice president. In 2003, he was appointed to head of RBS Aviation Capital for the
Americas, which provides aerospace capital solutions to airlines in North, Central and
South America. In the following year, he was promoted to managing director and invited to join the board of the bank’s Corporate Bank & Financial Markets business in
North America.
Slattery is an officer and member of the Board of Governors of the Wings Club in
New York and will become the Club’s President in 2008. A graduate of
Portobello
College in
Dublin and
Glamorgan
University in
Wales, John resides in
Manhattan,
New York.
